BRS was engaged by the Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT) as the non-scoring chairperson for a number of infrastructure projects including enabling works new State Schools Angle Vale and Aldinga, Sand Pumping System Semaphore South to West Beach, Kangaroo Island Ports Refurbishment, Old Murray Bridge Refurbishment, Port Bonython Jetty Berthing, and other road and bridge construction and remediation projects.

Why they approached us

With a large number of projects being procured within South Australia by the Department for Infrastructure and Transport, BRS was appointed as the non-scoring chairperson to provide independent external advice and to ensure that the projects meet their specified deadlines in accordance with Department Procurement Policy.

BRS were familiar with the DIT procurement policies, having worked on a number of projects recently and were able to continue to offer DIT a professional, consistent and outcomes-driven procurement process.

Facilitation of evaluation panel meetings and workshops in accordance with Department Procurement Policy;
Review of registrant / Tenderer responses and coordination of evaluation meeting with evaluation panels; and
Preparation of presentation and summary reports to Senior Responsible Officers and panel/s to summarise recommended outcomes
