Customisation and facilitation of an in-person commercial capability training course for senior infrastructure leaders in various agencies across the New Zealand public sector.

Why they approached us

As part of Te Waihanga’s leadership and capability program, the Commission was seeking a course to build commercial capability among senior infrastructure leaders across the public sector.

Issue 1 - Course content needs to be aligned to Te Waihanga’s Leadership and Capability Programme and frameworks such as the Project Director Capability Framework whilst ensuring it is relevant and practical for leaders delivering major public infrastructure projects

Issue 2 - Enhance understanding of the principles of “better value better outcomes”

BRS built upon previous commercial capability training that was developed for the New Zealand market and tailored to address Te Waihanga’s frameworks and requirements. Training was highly practical and collaborative with multiple courses facilitated to suit the demand.
