BRS was engaged to review the Auckland Motorway Alliance (AMA) through the provision of a stakeholder engagement review of its client New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA). BRS also was asked to assist with high performance coaching services to the Alliance Leadership Team, Alliance Management team and project team.

Why they approached us

Our knowledge of NZTA, the AMA and other key stakeholders ensured that our review would focus on what would add value in improving what was already a highly effective and efficient alliance. Our high performance services focussed on developing people was also considered valuable to the AMA and NZTA.

Issue 1 - The alliance had worked together for a long period of time and were keen to identify areas for improvement.

Issue 2 - There was not an aligned understanding of what NZTA were looking for from the AMA in adding continued value through the Alliance.

BRS solution:

BRS undertook a detailed stakeholder engagement review process which culminated in the development of a report with recommendations and a clear implementation plan on how the AMA could continue to increase the value it offered to NZTA. BRS also provided a detailed high performance plan to the Alliance Leadership Team on how the alliance could continue to improve.
