Driving the right out comes through innovation

Over the last couple of months BRS has been realigning our business to what our true drivers and aspirations are and what this means for our clients.  This has included reviewing our growth strategy, our strategic plan and also the way we work as a business with our clients to have a positive impact with their people, projects, teams and organisations.

The reason this has been important for us as a business is to ensure that we continue to improve our services and offerings to our clients as they go through change, disruption and challenge in their organisations and industries.

BRS will continue to look at implementing innovative new products, services and tools and frameworks that we will be discussing further with our clients over the remainder of 2018. This will include accreditation in new tools, new additions to our commercial acumen programmes as well as a greater use of technology in everything that we do.  Stay tuned for these exciting developments!

Going back to school – Accreditation time!

One of the most enjoyable aspects of working at BRS is continuing to learn new tools and frameworks that can help our clients.  Kym spent last Monday and Tuesday gaining accreditation in a tool called Team Management Profile (see website at www.tmsoz.com).

This is a terrific tool which focuses not just on individuals work preferences but also combines the type of work teams do and what they need to focus on to build a high performing team.

Stay tuned for some blogs and an upcoming breakfast on the Team Management Profile and how this can benefit your people, teams, projects and organisation.

Office of Projects Victoria - Commercial Capability Training for Victorian Government

We are delighted to be working in partnership with the Office of Projects Victoria (OPV) to facilitate commercial acumen training for 20 Victorian Government Agencies over the next four years.  This is a significant undertaking as we look to upskill their people in the importance of commercial acumen, their supply chain and their partners and how to drive value for money outcomes for the Victorian community.

The approach will be innovative with a very innovative workshop venue confirmed along with the use of technology and visuals that will change the way commercial acumen training is experienced by our clients.  This is exciting and promises to challenge BRS to continue to improve the way we work with our clients.   We are looking forward to the pilot program kicking off in July 2018.
