NZTA were very interested in a different approach to engaging with its key stakeholders in developing up their business cases. They wanted an approach that facilitated early engage with stakeholders to align on:

  • The fit with strategy and the need to invest in certain projects;
  • Aligning on a way forward with clear criteria around short listed options;
  • That the preferred approach will drive value for money and is affordable and deliverable; and
  • The risks are known, manageable and acceptable to NZTA and its stakeholders.
